Air Sterilization
Air-con damp and slimy cooling coil is the typical source of microbial contamination to the passing airflow. Simulating the invisible radiation from the sun, Steril Aire installed at the AHU's blower compartment takes advantage of the lower air velocity and reflections through the narrow cooling fin gaps to achieve the highest bacteria kill rate. As the air tumbles down this narrow gap at reduced speed, it is exposed to a high flux density of sterilizing waveform from all angles via billions of different angle reflections to remove bacteria and virus shadowed behind passing dust particles, resulting in an effective reduction in the spread of infectious diseases and odor.
Auto Coil Cleaning
Cooling coils performance often depreciate about 30% within 5 years due to insulating organic accumulations lounged within the deep narrow gaps of the cooling fins not accessible for easy manual cleaning. This results in a limited lifespan of the coils, often due to accumulating pressure drop and corrosion caused by the acids secreted by the constant microbial activity of the same.
Unlike conventional UVC lamps, Steril Aire made a patented break-through by it's ability to withstand cold moving air conditions and produce an extremely powerful emission. As aluminum is a very good reflector of UVC energy, it uses this advantage to allow UVC penetration deep into the coils to literally vaporize the organic materials within.
